Shadow Magic

Hi, there! My name’s Shadow. I’m a three-week-old American short-haired kitten, and I can do a very cool magic trick.

Shhhh. Don’t tell anyone, and I’ll show you how it’s done.

First, let me introduce you to my big brother, Moe. He’s my assistant and the best babysitter in the world.
“Moe, wake up. We’re going to do the trick again.”

Next, I get into position…

And PRESTO!!! The kitten disappears!

It takes a little practice, but now you can do the trick at home!

Jasper’s still working on it… I think I might have left out part of the directions…

  1. The life of living with kittens is truly magical. Bless you for giving them (and the Princess) a warm and safe home. They look very happy to be taken off the streets!

    • Princess seems to be adapting well. She is now using the litter box flawlessly, and though she would prefer to be outside, her motherly instinct keeps her from darting out the door. She has learned to wake me in the morning when the food or water bowl is empty, and she even occasionally comes to be petted. The little ones are a bit spoiled. They think that their human and feline family is here to entertain them, and that the world is one big playground.

Moe looks as though the kittens wore him out. The kittens, on the other hand, are full of fun, fun, fun, and play, play, play!! “What new games can we think of next”, is probably the question on their minds, after, of course, ” when do we eat?”
It’s fun seeing the pictures and reading your captions. You match pictures and captions perfectly!

    • Little Sammy is developmentally behind and hasn’t learned how to play. When Moe is babysitting, she curls up against him and goes to sleep, but Shadow and Jasper can be quite a pawful!
